With its geometric and sharp lines, the Column Table is inspired by the classic architectural shapes of columns and pillars, with the attempt to create a simple and flexible side table. The Column Table is small and can therefore be used in many different interior schemes. The table fits perfect next to a lounge chair or combined with other side tables next to a sofa or lounge area. Due to its minimalistic design the Column Table can also stand alone as a sculpture by itself or be used as a pedestal for exhibiting objects.

Fiber Concrete
Inspired by the Brutalism Architecture movement of the mid-20th century, fiber concrete has become the signature material of the 101 Copenhagen furniture collection. Emphasizing sculptural shapes, the texture of concrete creates a fine balance between sharp architectural lines and soft organic curves. Cast in lightweight fiber concrete, each product gets a unique tactile surface with small incorrections and nuances. The surface is afterwards coated, to create a strong and resistance product. Finally, the product is hand painted two times by brush, to create a brushed layered colour.
It is advised to avoid sharp objects as they can harm the surface of the product. The product cannot stand in extreme high temperature and sunlight for several months. High humidity levels can also cause the product to absorb moisture, causing it to become soft and fragile. When exposed to extreme heat or cold, the product may expand or contract excessively, causing it to break or become damaged.
If the products are used outdoor, we strongly advise in the winter season to use a waterproof cover to cover the product or take the product into indoor storage.
Maintenance:
For daily cleaning, a dry or wet cloth can be used to remove dust or dirt. However, cleaning products containing acid should not be used as they may harm the surface of the product.
