Kami, the Japanese word for paper bags, is an ode to the Japanese way of working with paper art. Kami vases has an uneven surface with curves and cracks, forming the shape of a crumbled paper back with crisp endings and edges. The vase emphasizes beautiful organic design with a handmade touch.

Perfect as a striking centerpiece on a dining table, console, or shelf, the Chrome Kami Vase brings a sculptural and modern touch to any interior. Our chrome titanium-plated ceramic pieces are finished with a sleek, mirror-like surface infused with a subtle titanium tint. To preserve their luminous clarity and refined tone, gentle care is essential.

For routine cleaning, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, use a damp cloth with mild, pH-neutral soap, then dry immediately to avoid streaks or water marks. Avoid abrasive pads, sponges, or powders, which may scratch the plating and diminish its reflective brilliance. Harsh chemicals, solvents, or acidic cleaners should not be used, as they can compromise the finish.

Handle with care, avoiding sharp objects and hard impacts that may mark the plated surface. Keep pieces away from prolonged direct sunlight or extreme temperatures to maintain their subtle hue and polished depth.

Ceramics

Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, we’ve been working for years with highly skilled ceramists to create a signature palette of natural faded earth tones and tactile finishes. Characterized by its complexity, ceramic is both robust and delicate, soft and crisp.

Coming from a high-quality fine clay, all ceramic products are made from mould and burned in oven. Afterwards each piece is hand painted by brush with up to four times, to achieve a soft brushed surface with a patinated texture like suede leather. Variations will be visible on the same pieces, as well as tones and amount of texture will vary from piece to piece.

Maintenance:
The product should not be exposed to direct sunlight and extreme temperature conditions. Avoid high UV exposure. For daily cleaning, a dry or wet cloth can be used to remove dust or dirt. However, cleaning products containing acid should not be used as they may harm the surface of the product. It is also advised to avoid sharp objects as they can harm the surface of the product.
